If u have are same problem like my Lenovo G405 no headphone detected.. here the solution after 2 weeks i search to solve this problem. I dont think this trick will work, but.. its work! Before this, after i put the headphone in my G405, speaker (conexant smart audio) not detect my device, second prob is.. my speakers not loud even adjust to higher level. So.. this tips can help and solve your problem if we have are same brand, version Lenovo G405.
Problems:
1. Headphone not detect.
2. Speakers not working well.

Find your operating system ect, and download software name:
Conexant Audio Driver.
U can see picture for my laptop specification, if we have are same specs.. download this software, then try put your headphone, that should work.
